WESTERN KENTUCKY

 

Racknine Outdoors farms are located in Ohio and Butler Counties and totaling 2700 acres of  QDMA managed cropfields (corn/soybeans), hardwoods, sawtooth oak orchards, CRP, and river bottom ground.  In Butler County, we have roughly a full mile of Green River frontage.  Kentucky deer hunting has been a well kept secret, but the secret is out!  In the last 10 years,  the popularity of Kentucky for world-class bucks and turkey has grown tremdously.  Search results show Kentucky is consistently listed in the top 10 US states to hunt.  Wideopen Spaces puts Kentucky in the #1 spot; Realtree's Antler Nation gave Kentucky an "A". Realtree also has ranked Kentucky as the #2 state from Where the Biggest Booner Bucks Are Coming from Now.  Kentucky ranks 2nd in QDMA'S top five for greatest antlered buck harvest.


Turkey hunting in Kentucky is also ranked as one of the top Eastern Turkey hunting hot spots. Kentucky has one of the longest combined turkey seasons anywhere!  Spring season general dates are Spring April 15th -  May 7th. Fall archery is September 2nd - January 15th.  Fall shotgun is October 28th - November 3rd and December 2nd - 8th.  Fall Crossbow is October 1st - 22nd and November 11th - December 31st. 

SOUTH ALABAMA

Located in Barbour, Pike, and Bullock Counties.  (AKA the Blackbelt Region)  With mulitiple farm locations we have approxiamately a 3 miles of Pea River frontage with nearly 2500 ACs of swamps, hardwoods, clear cuts, and dozens food plots.  The Blackbelt Region is known for its fertile soil which also aids in antler growth.  Alabama's Rut doesn't start till the 2nd to 3rd week of January and our season goes out Febuary 10th.  So as the rest of the countries deer season's are ending we are just getting ready for prime hunting. 


  Turkey hunting is always a thrill season starts March 15th goes out April 30th.  Eastern turkey maybe the most common but they are definetly to hardest to hunt.  Feral hog hunts are available year round with no miniumin harvest. 


SOUTH GEORGIA

Located in Jeff Davis County with 3,000 ACs of crops (peanuts), pasture land, planted pines, cut overs, swamps, hardwood bottoms,  food plots, and many ponds.  This farm also raises cattle with year round access to mineral site.  Box stands are strategically place through out the farm.  We do not offer food and lodging with this location currently.  Although we do welcome campers/RV's with a camp site with full hook ups at no additional charge.  We have a minuimin of 8pts. preferably 3.5yrs or greater.  There is a $500 fine for anything less than 8pts.  Turkey are plentiful and season usually starts towards the end of March and goes through mid May.

Policies

 We expect you to have a positive attitude, abide by any and all rules of Racknine Outdoors LLC, Local, State, and Federal game laws and to conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times.  Treat Racknine Outdoors LLC staff and  other guests the same way you would any other member of your hunting party.

 BILLING/POLICIES 

 *All booked hunts have 7 days to pay a 50% deposit from date commitment. The remaining balance is due immediately upon arrival and in cash or cashiers check.  Any other form payment must be received  7 days  prior to arrival. 

*All deposits are non-refundable. If a hunt needs to be cancelled due to an emergency, or with a 60 day notice, deposits will be applied for booking a future date.

Hunting Policies

 *Racknine Outdoors LLC trophy standards are:

*Kentucky deer hunters have a 130 class for bow hunters and 140 class for gun hunter, anything less than the 130/140 minimum will be subject to a $500 fine on the spot unless approved by Terry Garrett.

*Alabama and Georgia's deer hunters have a 8pt min preferably 3.5yrs old. Anything less than the 8pt minimum will be subject to a  $500 fine on the spot unless approved by Terry Garrett. 

*Turkeys must be mature Toms  or a $250 fine.

*Everyone will unload their firearms before leaving their hunting spot and handle them as if they are loaded at all times. No loaded firearms permitted in any RackNine’s Staff vehicles or in the lodges.  We take safety seriously and will give a warning first.  2nd offense your hunt will be over and asked to leave.  

*No one will be permitted to leave their stand for any reason other than a emergency. We do not allow hunters to get down and walk around.  This only causes unnecessary pressure to the hunting area. This is also  to ensure the safety of our hunters and staff.  

*If you shoot a deer 1- call or text your guide 2- stay in the stand until they arrive and they can retrieve or track  your deer. The last thing you want to do is push a deer.

* Currently there is no fee for wounded or unfound game.  Although we will make every effort possible to  recover lost or wounded game if determined by Terry Garrett that the game will not survive, your hunt will be  over and that is considered your tag.

*Non-hunting companions are welcome if space is available for $100/day.  Hunters take priority over nonhunters. 

 *All photos and footage taken by clients during the hunt maybe be used by Racknine Outdoors LLC unconditional and without fee.  

*Clients are solely responsible for their own gear and personal belongings. Racknine Outdoors LLC is not liable.
