Racknine Outdoors is not your typical hunting Outfitter. Like many other operations who's goals are to pump as many clients through their properties to see a increase in their revenue, we simply do not operate that way. Racknine could handle 10-12 people per hunt but we don't. We choose to limit the number of hunters we take and the number of hunts we offer, to allow for a more personable experience and limit the pressure on the wildlife. Racknine Outdoors objectives are not to become wealthly. First and most importantly we are Wildlife managers who enjoy sharing the outdoors with others and seeing the joys it brings them. What to expect from us. All of our hunts are 100% fair chase. These are wild animals, which means there are NO GUARANTEES. We sell hunts not deer! There are many factors outside our control that can have a positive or negative impact on wildlife and their behaviors such as weather conditions, changing migratory, breeding patterns, forage, clients skills, and many other factors. We are committed to providing you with the best hunting experience that we can. Not everyone will tag out, but our guides will always be professional, keep a positive attitude, and will provide knowledge and equipment necessary for a safe and enjoyable trip. We expect you to have a positive attitude, abide by any and all rules of Racknine Outdoors LLC, Local, State, and Federal game laws and to conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times. Treat Racknine Outdoors LLC staff and other guests the same way you would any other member of your hunting party.
Billing Policies
1. All booked hunts have 7 days to pay a 50% deposit from date commitment. The remaining balance is due immediately upon arrival in the form of cash. Any other form payment must be approved before hand and received 7 days prior to arrival. All credit card transactions will have a 3% fee applied.
2. All deposits/payments are non-refundable. If a hunt needs to be cancelled due to an emergency, or with a 60-day notice, deposits/payments will be applied for booking at a future date. You must rebook within 365 days of your cancelled hunt or you forfeit your deposit/payment totally. If you are booking a hunt for multiple people and the hunt must be cancelled and rescheduled the deposits are calculated on a per person basis and hunting is space is reserved on a per person basis. EXAMPLE- John books a hog hunt for 3 guys the deposit total is $825. John must cancel the hunt due to work. So now John has 3 separate deposit credits of $275 and must book 3 hunts again within a year. If he only books 2 then he loses that 3rd deposit. If you have paid in full prior to your hunt and you have to cancel there is NO REFUND you must reschedule your hunt within 365 days or you lose that money.
3. Racknine Outdoors LLC DOES NOT issue refunds for any reason.
Hunting Policies
Racknine Outdoors LLC trophy standards are:
Kentucky deer hunters have a 130 class minimum. Anything less than the 130 minimum will be subject to a $1000 fine on the spot. If your deer is unrecovered and Terry determines that the deer will die your hunt is over. *For quick review http://deerpros.com/qdma-tips/field-scoring-made-easy/
Alabama deer hunters have a 8pt minimum preferably 3.5yrs old or older. Anything less than the 8pt minimum will be subject to a $800 fine on the spot. If your deer is unrecovered and Terry determines that the deer will die your hunt is over. *For quick review http://deerpros.com/qdma-tips/field-scoring-made-easy/
Kentucky Turkeys must be mature Toms. Jakes or Hens will be subject to a $300 fine on the spot.
Everyone will unload their firearms before leaving their hunting spot and handle them as if they are loaded at all times. No loaded firearms permitted in any Racknine’s Staff vehicles or in the lodges. We take safety seriously and will give a warning first. 2nd offense your hunt will be over and asked to leave.
No one will be permitted to leave their stand for any reason other than a emergency. We do not allow hunters to get down and walk around. This only causes unnecessary pressure to the hunting area. This is also to ensure the safety of our hunters and staff. If you are caught out of your stand you will be givien a warning first. 2nd offense your hunt will be over and asked to leave.
If you shoot a deer 1- call or text your guide 2- stay in the stand until they arrive and they can retrieve or track your deer. The last thing you want to do is push a deer.
Currently there is no fee for wounded or unfound game. Although we will make every effort possible to recover lost or wounded game if determined by Terry Garrett that the game will not survive, your hunt will be over and that is considered your tag.
Non-hunting companions are welcome if space is available for $150/day. Hunters take priority over nonhunters.
All photos and footage taken by clients during the hunt maybe be used by Racknine Outdoors LLC unconditional and without fee.
Clients are solely responsible for their own gear and personal belongings. Racknine Outdoors LLC is not liable.
